The Southern Appalachian Economic Development Partnership may be able to help you qualify for special incentive programs that can make starting a new business or relocating here a very profitable venture. Incentives include tax credits, property and sales tax exemptions, and a variety of low interest loans. There are also tax credits for workers, grants for training industrial employees, and assistance for firms seeking international markets. In addition, there are special incentives for specific industries such as rubber and plastics, transportation equipment, wood, automotive parts, industrial machinery and equipment, computer equipment and parts, and printing.
